Blyth Trailway Cabins

Blyth Trailway Cabins are a luxury cabin retreat that opened in September 2022.  This unique space consists of three one bedroom cabins, each complete with a living room and gas fireplace, Smart TV, Wifi, kitchenette, BBQ, and full bathroom, including shower. They are insulated and equipped with a split furnace/AC unit for year-round use. Each cabin has a private deck/front porch and there is also a shared fire pit area for guests to use. There is a parking lot on site for guests to use.

Take a look at our Gallery page to see pictures or follow us on Instagram @blythtrailwaycabins, where we regularly post all things happening in Blyth and Huron County! In December 2024, we added a new sauna on site!

Our three cabins are: The Westia Cabin, The Blythe Cabin, and The Greenlet Cabin. They can be booked individually or as a group. You can also contact us to book two cabins at a time.

We hope you’ll enjoy this beautiful, natural space in the heart of Huron County, Ontario’s West Coast. Send us an e-mail at office@trailwaycabinsblyth.com or give us a call if you’d like to learn more.

Blyth, Ontario is an artsy, tourist village that is home to Cowbell Brewing Company (1.7km), Canada’s Destination Brewery as well as the long-running Blyth Festival Theatre company which features original Canadian theatre every summer.

The cabins are located directly on the 132km Guelph to Goderich (G2G) Rail Trail on the edge of Blyth and the trail runs right through the heart of the village. The cabins are located about 25km from Goderich on the trail and 100km from Guelph, making them an ideal location for a stop over during an End to End trail tour. Alternatively, do a shorter ride (approx. 12km) to get to the Maitland River for a scenic ride. Ask us about dropping your vehicle off prior to your stay or leaving it after you’ve checked out. In the winter, we’re located at an access point to the Ontario Snowmobiling Club trail.

I can't say enough good things about this place. We stayed for a weekend with friends and it was so nice. They thought of every detail, even bike repair kits in the rooms. Right on the trail so we rode our bikes both ways. So fun!

I am writing to express our gratitude for the exceptional experience we had during our recent stay at Blyth Cabins. The entire process, from booking to check-out, was nothing short of first-class. The cabins were remarkably clean and fully stocked with all the necessary amenities, making our visit both comfortable and enjoyable. The attention to detail greatly enhanced our experience. It is evident that a lot of effort is put into ensuring guest satisfaction, and it certainly does not go unnoticed. We hope to visit again in the near future and will enthusiastically recommend Blyth Cabins to friends and family. Thank you once again for a wonderful stay.

A wonderful place to stay! Private and quiet location, but not too far from civilization. Safe, lighted parking area. A very clean, spacious cabin with plenty of windows for natural light. It has a knotty pine interior with high ceilings. The kitchen was well equipped and also clean. A good TV with plenty of channels in case it rains. The wifi was good. The G2G trail is conveniently right there. A fire pit is available. I particularly enjoyed the high quality outdoor sauna. Linens are included. It even had a comfortable couch for that sleepy afternoon nap! Your own good quality bbq right on your covered back porch! for I definitely would return!

Becky’s cabins are beautiful. We had a friends weekend there in two of the cabins and everyone loved the spaces. Very clean and peaceful. We hiked the g2g trail both days and we walked to cowbell one day for dinner and went back two days later for dinner! We ate lunch at the Blyth Inn and visited the shops in Blyth. We also took the short drive to Goderich and spent some time there. Our time spent went way too fast and we thoroughly enjoyed it! I would highly recommend booking with Becky. She is very responsive and everything from check in to check out was very smooth!

This cabin was exactly what we needed—a peaceful escape surrounded by nature. The sauna was a highlight—so relaxing after a day of exploring. We spent our evenings by the fire pit under the stars, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The cabin itself was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. You can really tell the hosts put thought into making it feel welcoming. Highly recommend if you're looking to unplug and recharge in the woods.

We had such a beautiful stay at Becky’s cabin! The cabin was exactly what we were looking for. It had everything we needed to cook a nice dinner, including a hot plate which was a nice surprise! The bed and pillows were very comfy. We also loved relaxing in the sauna. We were lucky to have a warm, sunny day to walk on the trail into town. Becky was responsive and very accommodating! We would love to return for a longer stay!

We enjoyed our quiet, peaceful stay in this cozy cabin. The sauna was our main reason for booking but we also really enjoyed the modern cabin, walking trails and firepit. This place has a professional feel and has everything you need for a little getaway.
